When you were young you took decisions based on what you really wanted to do. Enjoyed everything you did & looking back at it all they were most probably the brightest days of your life. Now you begin to grow up, begin to understand what life consists of, understood how each move has a possible repercussion which needs to be dealt with. For most of us once this understanding sets in we become cautious & slow down to a great deal. That's how we transcend into adulthood.
Having stated this procedure in brief what do you think the understanding & knowledge gained does to us? I know of children who faulter but are not affected by the same & of adults who will mull over a distant loss or mishap. From the two it's the latter is loosing out because life is too short to carry any baggage along. But we are only human & baggage we do carry but the lesser the better. As a child how many emotions do we know of? not many except a few Love, Hate & Jealousy to name a few...as adults we know so many! some even have medical terms for them! Agreed as we age our competitive nature kicks in along with sexual maturity & hormonal changes..but dosn't it feel like the knowledge & understanding we gain is killing us? Do we as adults really Live & Let Live? Should we as adults have the right to govern a childs mind? Besides the all important rules (only the ones to keep a young child safe) I believe we should not pollute a clean & clear mind with our distorted visions of life..coz that's all it will be to a clear minded child...distorted visions....Just a thought.
